Your group of up to eight participants can book an exclusive forest walk with Amy and Shawn as your guides. Private Group Eco Tours offers nature-focused forest walks to New River Gorge National Park visitors who are traveling in a group and wish to experience an Eco Tour with their group. Your 3 hour eco tour experience will acquaint you with the history, culture and ecology of the New River Gorge during your visit. We'll use our local knowledge of trails and recent weather to pick the best trail that offers an easy to moderate hike on a route that offers the most bio-diverse natural experience possible. Depending on time of year and weather conditions, participants can expect a route that will highlight National Park features, such as: - Waterfalls - History - Culture - Rock Formations - Flora, Fauna and Fungi - Scenic Vistas - Creeks and River We'll provide detailed directions to our rendezvous point where your hike will begin, and knowledgeable and experienced guidance and interpretation of the flora and fauna you will encounter. Eco Tours cancellation and refund policy: Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the date of the reservation will be refunded 100% of the total booking charges (less $5.00 cancellation fee). Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to the date of the reservation will be refunded 50% of the total booking charges (less $5.00 cancellation fee). For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the date, no refund will be issued. Full refunds will be issued if tours must be cancelled due to inclement weather.
